Bike to Work Day 2018

We had a wonderful time celebrating Bike to Work Day across the Bay Area on May 10th.

We rode with community members and elected officials in Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose. Our riders brought our all time trip record, with over 7,600 rides on Bike to Work Day!

We teamed up with Scraper Bikes to scraperize four Ford GoBikes in celebration of Bike to Work Day in Oakland. The bikes were ridden across Oakland to Frank Ogawa Plaza and were later introduced into the full Ford GoBike system at into nearby stations.

Thanks to our ebike partner, Genze, we were able to offer free rides to all Bay Area residents for Bike to Work Day. A Free Access Pass was available in the app for unlimited 45-minute rides within the 24 hour period.

We can't wait for next year's celebration and more record breaking ridership. Thank you to all the amazing organizations and community members who celebrated making our cities healthier, safer, and more fun to get around!
